1、Heavily contribute to/support NPD & R&D projects – engaged at ideation stage to advise on suitable materials to meet the brief for product, packaging and other peripherals; including proposal of new materials, techniques and technologies to support innovation in our NPD process (for example, using more sustainable materials).
2、Accountable (working closely with Procurement) to achieve strategic sourcing objectives – broaden supplier network, support risk/cost reduction across our supply chain, improve our ESG credentials, support supplier relationship management/contract negotiation, etc.
3、Improve quality – of existing products, processes and materials; advise of use of alternative materials, chemicals, processes to improve quality and generate margin growth; as well as leading on projects to enable greater proportion of internal ma**facturing
